  • Pulsing

Pulsing is fun! I can ask random questions and have random people answer them.

But why is it that every time I pulse and people comment, I can't reply back to their comments? You get me?? Like, I click the REPLY button but it won't work.

I changed my theme already but then it's still not working...the stupid reply button  I'm still getting the hang of the new Xanga format so what can I do to fix it??

  • Everything Happens For a Reason

Psalms 139: 1-18 (New Living Translation)

1 O Lord, you have examined my heart
          and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
3 You see me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
          You know everything I do.
4 You know what I am going to say
even before I say it, Lord.
5 You go before me and follow me.
You place your hand of blessing on my head.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
     8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.

13 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
15 You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion,
as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
     16
You saw me before I was born.

Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
          Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed.

17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.
          They cannot be numbered!
     18 I can’t even count them;
they outnumber the grains of sand!
       And when I wake up,
          you are still with me!

  • Here's to new beginnings!

"A couple hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, he said, which you can do today. This is the man who discovered electricity. You think more people would listen to what he had to say. I don't know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd have to say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of rejection, sometimes the fear is just of making a decision, because what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo? The early bird catches the worm. A stitch in time saves nine. He who hesitates is lost. We can't pretend we hadn't been told. We've all heard the proverbs, heard the philosophers, heard our grandparents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. Until we finally understand for ourselves what Benjamin Franklin really meant. That knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beat the hell out of never trying."

    - Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy

I've been hearing a lot of buzz about Xanga lately so I'll take Meredith's advice and not leave for tomorrow what I can do today. They should really put up a tutorial for returning Xangans so we know how to work with this new format. Do they actually have one up? Anyways, here's to new beginnings and hopefully more blogs to come in the future.
